What are the best sites for submitting my CV and finding a new job?

I have unsuccessfully tried to find a new job as my current one is dead-end and I am earning minimum wage. So far I have had little to no responses and most recruitment consultants just don’t call me back.

I have experience is sales, customer service and academic experience in IT.

What are the best and most viewed websites by recruiters to submit my CV?

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

If you’re putting together a college student cover letter you should already have a resume put together. If you don’t, get that done first, that’s the best way I found to approach the letter. My letter would make reference to the resume so it helped me a lot to have the information I was going to present all written down and it just be a matter of presenting it with a well written letter.

    For the uk-
monster.co.uk – difficult to set up searches, or edit your cv
jobsite.co.uk – loads of extra stuff on how to do interviews
    totaljobs.com
jobserve.co.uk – will email you as vacancies are posted
cwjobs.co.uk – will email you as vacancies are posted

the job centre website (use jobseekers.direct.gov) has vacancies but doesn’t allow you to upload a cv.
